While many often rush to point at Louisiana for political clap traps, the Fed is continuing to model one of our most famous governors, Huey Long. Huey reportedly gave state workers a raise but it included a “deduct” an amount that you had to return to the governor as cash, thrown through the transom window of his office, so he could claim he never knew from where the money came.
