Significant Career Experience

Danica has a decade and a half experience in public accounting. Her clients tell her she keeps them calm when assisting with various tax issues and projects.

As a Senior Manager in the Firm’s tax department, Danica works with a variety of industries including not-for-profits, oil & gas consulting, and maritime, among others. Her responsibilities include:

  • Reviewing complex federal, state/local income tax returns for corporations (S- and C-), partnerships, individuals, gifts, non-profits, trusts, employee benefit plans, estates, consolidations, and multi-state filings
  • Managing 990s
  • Conducting tax benefit analyses for clients, including projections for S-Corps and C-Corps for comparing entity structure
  • Ensuring tax compliance, including federal and state taxes, gifts, IRS assistance, and tax notice response
  • Researching federal and state tax issues for clients
  • Training staff to prepare tax returns
